In Support of Communities of Color and Other Minoritized Groups

To our Aviation Distributors and Manufacturers Association Family, the aviation industry, and other stakeholders:

On behalf of the entire Aviation Distributors and Manufacturers Association (ADMA), with saddened hearts, we provide this statement of support of communities of color and other minoritized groups. Globally, we acknowledge the distressing events impacting our communities, and sincerely mourn the recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, and many others as a result of systemic racism.

The Aviation Distributors and Manufacturers Association, through this communication and its actions, declares its commitment to speak out against injustice; lend an ear to those whom others have attempted to silence; and, intentionally aim to comprehend and avoid the history, systems, and actions that have perpetuated oppression. While rejecting racism and injustice, ADMA commits to encouraging inclusion and diversity within our organization and member companies. Together, we support communities of color and other marginalized groups.

As we reflect on our mission to promote professionalism, integrity, and education, we should consider this aim through the lens of social justice. Together, we can hold each other accountable. Together, we can have a positive impact on our society. Together, we can make positive changes. Together, we can work in creating an inclusive and equitable world.

ADMA encourages us all to take the necessary actions in our professional and personal lives to break the cycles of oppression and encourage and celebrate diversity and inclusion for the good of all.

Sincerely,

Wolfgang Dillbaum-Alexius
ADMA President
